Social commitment

The Debrunner Koenig Group is an active partner for sustainable vocational training projects. By committing to vocational education and training, it aims to support Switzerland’s dual training system and promote young talent, while ensuring high-level training that is as broadly based as possible. We are delighted that this has met with a high level of acceptance and identification among our employees. In order to avoid conflicts of interest, we do not donate to political parties, individuals, profit-oriented organisations or bodies whose objectives run counter to our corporate governance policy, as a matter of principle.

Promoting talent in wood construction and timber technology

We have been the official sponsor of Holzbau Schweiz’s national team since 1 January 2018. The team prepares young skilled workers for national and international professional competitions, such SwissSkills, EuroSkills and WorldSkills. Our sponsorship makes a big contribution to helping young carpenters successfully demonstrate their capabilities in a competition setting.

Further projects

We support sustainable projects in the field of vocational training, which we plan and help to implement in close cooperation with the respective partners. Education, efficiency and environmental sustainability are just a few of the terms that drive us in this area.
